WHA's History: Making a World of Difference Since 2005...
World Health Ambassador became an independent 501(c)(3), non-profit organization in 2007 after starting as a pilot program of the Vietnamese American Medical Association. WHA now has more than 700 members across the United States and several foreign countries including the United Kingdom, Sweden, France, Egypt, India, Philippines, Vietnam, Australia and Canada.
To date, WHA has sent medical and dental teams to Cambodia, India, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the United States.

MEDICAL MILESTONES

In addition to the listed Missions, every year since 2010, WHA Vietnam has conducted four additional Dental Missions per year, serving an additional 48,000 patients

2007-2008 WHA's Medical Assistance Program provided financial and medical sponsorship for open heart surgeries for three children with severe congenital heart disease
