World Health Ambassador's primary work involves planning and carrying out Medical Relief Missions to provide care for individuals and communities around the world who do not have access to needed health care.
WHA’s international missions involve both the provision of medical and dental services to a population in need, as well as an offer of medical and dental expertise and classes to local providers and healthcare institutions in the host country. WHA mission teams are comprised of general medical practitioners and medical specialists, general dentists and dental specialists, nurses, pharmacists, technicians support staff.
WHA missions provide in-depth medical and dental treatment in many settings, including regional medical centers, provincial hospitals, and village clinics. WHA seeks to utilize local health care resources to ensure continuity of care for patients as well as to control follow-up costs for patients. WHA also seeks to work with other non-profit organizations in the United States and abroad by offering its expertise and to strengthen its own capabilities.

Exciting News! We are currently seeking volunteers to join WHA on its next Mission to the Philippines and Vietnam in 2025. WHA is embarking on a new educational program and this trip will include some opportunities to work with students and colleagues, as well as hands-on treatment of individuals. Past Missions
Since 2005, WHA has organized and successfully completed a number of Medical Relief Missions and has participated in related activities to serve those in need.
