WHA 2023 MISSION TO VIETNAM, August 2023
LOCATION: Central Highlands of Vietnam
DESCRIPTION: Medical Survey Mission and an Outreach Dental Mission
Medical Team Responsibilities:
-
Survey hospital facility and medical needs of the area;

Work with hospital medical providers to discuss patient cases and to exchange ideas on care modalities;

Provide teaching seminars to hospital staff and students
Dental Team Responsibilities:
-
Provide outreach dental care to surrounding area in conjunction with our Vietnam dental team
Approximate Number of Participating Team Members (18 to 20):

5 Physicians

3 Medical support staff (nurse, pharmacist, medical assistant)

5 Dentists

3 Dental support staff

2 Mission support staff

WHA continues to maximize every dollar donated for the purchase of medical supplies and equipment needed to conduct missions. We are extremely grateful that all volunteers cover their expenses for all mission trips.

It is very important to know that while our Medical & Dental Missions are rewarding and inspiring, they can also be heartbreaking and often rigorous and physically demanding.
